Initial audio data sourceList of available Data Sources

The data source that must, at run time, contain the name of the initial audio file. NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center plays the initial audio file after routing the call to this applet. After NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center plays this file, the caller can leave a message.

Note

If you do not select a data source, NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center uses the announcement you select in Inital generic audio file.


Initial generic audio fileAudio (.wav) file

The audio file that contains the announcement that NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center plays after routing the call to this applet. After NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center plays this file, the caller can leave a message. NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center only plays this file if you do not select a data source in Initial audio data source.

Click Choose File to launch an Open dialog box. Select the audio file you want to use for the first announcement.

Note

If you do not upload an audio file, the caller will hear NewVoiceMediaVonage Contact Center's default announcement.


Confirmation audio data sourceList of available Data Sources

The data source that must, at run time, contain the name of the confirmation audio file. NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center plays the confirmation audio file after the caller leaves a message. Include the following instructions in the message:

  • Press 1 to listen to your recording
  • Press 2 to accept your recording
  • Press 3 to replace your recording
Note

If you do not select a data source, NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center uses the announcement you select in Confirmation generic audio file.


Confirmation generic audio fileAudio (.wav) file

The audio file that contains the announcement that NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center plays after the caller leaves a message. NewVoiceMedia Vonage Contact Center only plays this file if you do not select a data source in Confirmation audio data source.

Include the following instructions in the message:

  • Press 1 to listen to your recording
  • Press 2 to accept your recording
  • Press 3 to replace your recording

Silence triggering end of message1 to 10

During a recording, if the caller is silent for the configured time period, in seconds, the recording ends and the 'after' announcement is played. The default is 2 seconds.

Shorter time periods can prematurely end the recording.
