The initial applet is the first applet that the call interaction is routed to when a call is made to the number or an interaction is routed to the named route you select. You must set an initial applet for your call interaction plan.

To set the initial applet, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Call Plan Interaction Architect. For information on accessing Call Plan Interaction Architect, see Accessing Call Plan Interaction Architect.
  2. In the Phone Number Configuration section, optionally filter the list of available telephone numbers and named routes. Select the number for number or named route for which you are setting the initial applet. Click Display Selection.

  3. Alongside Applet Manager, click Show.

  4. To set the initial applet, in the Set Initial Applet list, select the applet you want to route a new call interaction to first.
  5. Click Set. The initial applet is set.
