Applets are the building blocks of your call interaction plan.

To create an applet, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Call Plan Interaction Architect. For information on accessing Call Plan Architect Interaction Architect, see Accessing Interaction Architect.
  2. In the Phone Number Configuration section, optionally filter the list of available telephone numbers and named routes. Select the number or named route for which you are creating the call interaction plan. Click Display Selection.

  3. Alongside Applet Manager, click Show.

  4. To add the new applet, in the Add New Applet list, select the type of applet you want to add. In Name of this Applet, type a unique name for the applet.

    We recommend that you use a naming convention for your applets, especially for complex call interaction plans with many applets. For example, you might prefix your announcement applets with AN, Data Router applets with DR, and ACD applets with ACD or UCD accordingly. Naming applets in this way enables you to find existing applets easily at a later date.

    Click Add. The new applet appears.
