To see a list of upcoming dial entries in a dial list record, you must add the dial list preview component to the dial list page layout.
To add the dial list preview to a page layout, perform the following steps:
- Open a dial list record.
- To edit the dial list's page layout, click the cog icon at the top of the page, and click Edit Page in the menu that appears. The Lightning App Builder for the dial list object appears.
- In the list of Lightning components on the left side of the window, find the dialListPreview component either by searching or by scrolling to the Custom - Managed list. Drag dialListPreview to a suitable place in the record.
- Click Save. Page Saved may or may not appear.
- You must activate the page to make your changes visible to users. If Page Saved appeared when you clicked to save your changes, click Activate. If Page Saved did not appear, click Activation... at the top of the page. Follow instructions relating to activating the page layout as required. For information about activating page layout changes, see Activate Lightning Experience Record Pages (Salesforce help).
- Click Back to return to the record.
dialListPreview now appears in the page layout in dial lists. Which agents see the component depends on who you activated the changed page layout for.
