Auto cache size for dial lists
Supervisor changes
Previously, supervisors could manually select a cache size for each dial list. When the flag ENABLE_AUTO_CACHE_SIZE is enabled, our system will automatically set the cache size to the maximum value that complies with Salesforce governor limits. With the auto cache size feature, dial lists will be optimized for performance without any manual effort. There won't be a need to often refresh a dial list with the new cache size, ensuring that there are fewer record-locking errors.
Salesforce administrator changes
Add a flag ENABLE_AUTO_CACHE_SIZE in the custom settings, to enable auto cache size.
If your organization relies on dial lists with exceptionally low cache sizes, we recommend that you do not enable the ENABLE_AUTO_CACHE_SIZE flag. Auto cache size is designed to maximize performance for most scenarios, but there may be cases where adjusting cache size manually is preferable.
