To add the button to a view, perform the following steps, which use the a Processed Dial Entries views view as an example.

  1. Go to the Administration Setup Page in Salesforce.
  2. On the left-hand side of the Salesforce window, in the App Setup section, expand Create.
  3. In the expanded list of items, click ObjectsCustom Objects appears.

  4. In the list of custom objects locate Dial locate Processed Dial Entry.

    Click Processed Dial Entry. The object appears in read mode.

  5. Scroll down to the Search Layouts section. Locate the 'Processed Dial Entries List View' in the list of search layouts.

    Click Edit alongside Processed Dial Entries List View. Processed Dial Entries List View appears.

  6. In the Custom Buttons section, select Create Dial List in the Available Buttons box.

    Add to

    Add to include the button in the Selected Buttons box.

  7. Click Save. Your new button will now appear in Processed Dial Entries views.
