A user's profile determines which page layout or layouts the user sees in different areas of ContactWorld in Salesforce. You can assign appropriate page layouts to profiles.

To assign the NVM Tasks page layout to user profiles, perform the following steps.

  1. Go to the Administration Setup Page in Salesforce.
  2. On the left-hand side of the Salesforce window, in the App Setup or Build section, expand Customize and then Activities.
  3. In the expanded list of items, click Task Page LayoutsTask Page Layout appears.
  4. Click Page Layout AssignmentPage Layout Assignment appears.
  5. Click Edit AssignmentEdit Page Layout Assignment appears.
  6. Click the Page Layout column header.

  7. In the Page Layout To Use field, select the NVM Tasks page layout. Click Save. All user profiles now see the NVM Tasks page layout when they create or edit user records.
