Installing and uninstalling the screen recording desktop application

Overview
To use Screen Recording within Vonage Contact Center you must install and configure the Vonage Screen Recording App.
Administrators must ensure they have downloaded the correct app for their operating systems.
VonageScreenRecordingClient Link
Administrators are provided with a link to download the Screen Recording application only once the feature has been successfully added to the Contact Center account.
Installing the desktop application
Windows
To install the Vonage Screen Recording app on Windows, perform the following steps:
When provided with the app link, download VonageScreenRecordingClient for Windows.
Double-click on the app to open it.
If the security pop-up appears, choose the option to run the program anyway. The Vonage Screen Recording login screen appears.
macOS
To install the Vonage Screen Recording app on macOS, perform the following steps:
When provided with the app link, download VonageScreenRecordingClient for macOS.
In the dialog box that appears, drag Vonage Screen Recording into Applications.
To allow the app to record your screen, add Vonage Screen Recording Client as a new screen recorder in Security & Privacy. For information, see macOS User Guide.
To open the app, go to Applications and click VonageScreenRecordingClient. If a security pop-up appears, click Open. The Vonage Screen Recording login screen appears.
Note
Once the application has been installed, for either Windows or macOS, agents must log in to start recording their screen. For information about logging in, see Logging in to and out of Vonage Screen Recording app.
Uninstalling the desktop application
Windows
To uninstall the Vonage Screen Recording app on Windows, perform the following steps:
Within your desktop settings, navigate to Add and Remove programs.
Find VonageScreenRecordingClient on the list of installed programs and uninstall it.
macOS
To uninstall the Vonage Screen Recording app on macOS, perform the following steps:
Within your desktop settings, navigate to Applications.
Find VonageScreenRecordingClient on the list of applications. Secondary click and then click Move to Bin.
Credential Details
Credentials are stored separately and must be removed manually. See the Logging out section to learn how to remove credentials.
