 To configure a friendly name for an IVR slot, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to ContactWorld as a supervisorthe VCC Admin Portal as a supervisor. For information on logging in to ContactWorldthe VCC Admin Portal, see Logging in to ContactWorldthe Vonage Contact Center Admin Portal.
    • If you are the supervisor of multiple accounts, select the account that you want to access IVR Data Collector for, and click Select.
    ContactWorld appearsVonage Contact Center appears.

    From the ContactWorld Vonage Contact Center homepage, move your mouse pointer over the menu icons on the left of the page.

  3. In the Number to Configure listdata for list, click the number you want to add friendly names for. Click Configure Data. Digit 0 to Digit 31, String 0 to String 31, and Audio 0 to Audio 31 fields appear.

    In a currently unused IVR slot field (that is, an empty field), type a memorable and appropriate friendly name for that slot.

    For example, type "Customer satisfaction" in Digit 0, "Customer number" in String 0, or "General feedback" in Audio 0. Repeat for all IVR slots you want to use.

  5. Scroll down until you see Update IVR Friendly Names. Click Update IVR Friendly Names. Update IVR Friendly Names appears.

You can now use your configured IVR slots in IVR applets. For example, you can use the following applets to collect data in the applicable IVR slots:

, IVR Collect Digit

...

, and IVR Collect Digit String

...

applets to collect data in the applicable IVR slots, by selecting the appropriate slot within the respective applet.
