In Interaction Architect, you can configure the Data Announcer and Take Message applets to play custom audio to a caller. For information about using custom audio in these applets, see Using custom announcements and Taking and sending a message from a caller.

To use custom audio you must store the audio files in NewVoiceMedia's Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) storage area. You must request a folder for your account. NewVoiceMedia will provide you with the credentials you need to access the folder.

You can use any file transfer client to upload your files to Amazon S3.

You can create sub folders within your folder in Amazon S3. Always use the full and correct file path when you store file paths and names in data sources.

File names are case-sensitive. Always use the correct case when you store file names in data sources.

NewVoiceMedia caches the files retrieved from S3. NewVoiceMedia checks for new versions of the files every hour. If you replace a file with a file of the same name, you may need to wait up to one hour to use the updated file.
