Adding Service Cloud app
Before adding the Connect console component to a Salesforce Console, such as the Service Cloud, you must have already added the appropriate app.
If you are not using a Salesforce console, such as Service cloud, you can simply add the provided home page component to applicable home pages. For information about adding Connect to your home pages, see Adding Connect to a non-console app in Salesforce Classic.
To use Connect in a Salesforce console, you must first create a new custom console component, and then add the component to the console. Using this component, agents can make calls in console mode.
