When you use ContactPad to receive calls using ContactWorld for Salesforce (CW4SF), you get the same functionality as you would using ContactPad with ContactWorld. For information on receiving calls using ContactPad, see Receiving an inbound call. In addition to this standard functionality, you can also perform the following tasks:
- Open a Salesforce record—Lead, Contact, Account, for example—relating to the caller from ContactPad. For information on opening a record, see Opening a Salesforce record relating to a caller.
- Open a Case record relating to this call. For information on opening a Case record, see Opening a Case record relating to a call.
- Add a note to the Task record related to this call. For information on adding a note to a Task record, see Adding notes during a call.
