Requesting client credentials from NewVoiceMedia

To make calls to an API, you require client credentials (a client ID and secret) which authenticate your request. Contact your NewVoiceMedia account manager and request client credentials for use with the relevant API. You will receive an email from NewVoiceMedia.

Client credentials email

The email contains your client credentials which consist of:

  • Your client ID.
  • Your client secret. The email contains a link to https://onetimesecret.com/. Click the link to access your 40 digit client secret.

Save these details. You will need your client ID and client secret every time you make a call to the API.

Adding an API to your existing client credentials

If you already have client credentials for a NewVoiceMedia API, you add other APIs to these client credentials. Contact your NewVoiceMedia account manager and request that the relevant scope for the API is added to your existing client credentials.
