Receiving inbound calls using Vonage Contact Center in Salesforce
When you use ContactPad to receive calls using Vonage Contact Center in Salesforce, you get the same functionality as you would using ContactPad with Vonage Contact Center. For information on receiving calls using ContactPad, see Making and receiving calls in ContactPad. In addition to this standard functionality, you can also perform the following tasks:
- Open a Salesforce record—Lead, Contact, Account, for example—relating to the caller from ContactPad. For information on opening a record, see Opening a Salesforce record relating to a caller.
- Open a Case record relating to this call. For information on opening a Case record, see Opening a Case record relating to a call.
- Add a note to the Task record related to this call. For information on adding a note to a Task record, see Logging a call during the call.
