Logging in to and out of ContactPad in Salesforce
ContactPad is available within Salesforce, in both Salesforce Classic (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud) and Salesforce Lightning Experience. For information about ContactPad in Salesforce, see ContactPad in Salesforce.
To use ContactPad, you must log in.
How do I log in to ContactPad in Salesforce?
To use ContactPad you must log in as an agent. The first time you log in to ContactPad with a password, you must set a password for your account. For information about setting your password for the first time, see Logging in to ContactPad. After you have chosen a password, you can now log in to ContactPad using that password.
To log in, type your username and password in the Portal Login screen, and click Login.
If you have forgotten your password, you must reset it. For information about resetting your password, see Logging in to ContactPad.
You are now logged in to ContactPad. You are ready to receive inbound and make outbound calls.
How do I log out of ContactPad in Salesforce?
To log out of ContactPad, click Log Out on the home panel of ContactPad. Logging out of ContactPad automatically logs you out of the Omni-Channel widget in Salesforce, even if you have not integrated Vonage Contact Center with Salesforce Omni-Channel presence.
You must always log out of ContactPad at the end of your shift, otherwise ContactWorld can still route calls to you. Logging out of Salesforce does not log you out of ContactPad.
