Task-based Dial Lists
You can create Dial Lists that contain pending calls based on various object types including tasks.
When you create a Dial List that contains tasks, you must take into account the following information:
- You must add the Log a Call action to the task page layout or layouts that your users use. For information about the Log a Call action, see Adding the Log a Call action to a page layout in Salesforce Classic. You must then enable feed tracking for task objects. Feed tracking is enabled by default for most standard Salesforce objects, but not tasks. For information about enabling feed tracking, see Salesforce help.
- Connect performs differently when an agent uses Connect to make a call that corresponds to a task record. For more information, see Pending, active, completed and skipped calls.
