Hiding fields for relating calls to objects
To prevent agents from overriding the default object or objects that their call is related to, you must hide the Name or Related To, or both, fields from display.
To hide one or both of the fields, perform the following steps:
- From Setup, click Home and search for Custom Settings.
- Alongside Settings click Manage.
- Click Edit.
- Click the Hide Name field or Hide Related To field, or both, check boxes.
- Click Save.
The value or values in these fields will be hidden from display but may still be populated in the record.
