---|---|---|
From number | Text | The phone number or name from which the SMS message appears to be sent. You can use a combination of text, digits and data sources. The resulting value in the From number field can contain a maximum of 11 characters or 20 digits. The data sources are placeholders for the data sources' values at run time. Vonage Contact Center replaces the placeholders with values before sending the SMS. Use the following format to specify a placeholder for a data source:
For example, "02072068888" or "XYZ Ltd" or " |
To number(s) | Destination numbers | One or more numbers to which the SMS is sent. You can specify numbers in local and international formats. You can send an SMS to a maximum of 100 destination numbers. If you specify more than 100 numbers, the SMS applet sends an SMS message to the first 100. Separate multiple values with a comma. The numbers must all have the same destination country. You can use a combination of digits and data sources. The data sources are placeholders for the data sources' values at run time. Vonage Contact Center replaces the placeholders with values before sending the SMS. Use the following format to specify a placeholder for a data source:

Dynamic destination country | Select or clear | Determines whether you use a dynamic or static destination country. Clear the Dynamic destination country check box to use a static destination country for the SMS message or messages. |
Destination country | List of available countries | A list of all supported destination countries. Click the destination country for the SMS message or messages. If you select a destination country, Vonage Contact Center uses the value to validate all non-placeholder To number(s) when you save the applet. If any numbers are invalid, an error appears and Vonage Contact Center does not save the applet. Vonage Contact Center re-validates the numbers at run time. |
Destination country data source | List of available data sources | A list of all available data sources. Click the data source that will contain the destination country at run time. The data source must contain the appropriate three character ISO country code for the destination country at run time. For ISO codes, see https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#search/code. At run time, before sending an SMS message or messages, Vonage Contact Center uses the value in the data source to validate the values in the To number(s). |
Message | Text | The content of the SMS. The message can contain a maximum of 255 characters. You can include one or more data sources in the Message field. The data sources are placeholders for the data sources' values at run time. Vonage Contact Center replaces the placeholders with values before sending the SMS.
